Keep your floor looking its best.

Keep the care instructions for your installed system close by. The right routine depends on the coating, surface texture, and how the room is used. Start with these questions and practical habits.

Before you put the room back to work

Follow the return-to-use schedule supplied for your project. Walking, moving furniture, parking vehicles, and wet cleaning can have different waiting periods. Do not use appearance or touch alone to decide that a coating is fully cured.

Build a simple cleaning routine

  • Remove loose grit and debris regularly using equipment suitable for the surface.
  • Address spills promptly with the cleaner and method approved for your system.
  • Follow dilution and rinsing instructions; avoid leaving cleaner residue.
  • Keep mats and equipment clean so they do not trap grit against the floor.

Check before using a new cleaner

Ask for the recommended cleaner, dilution, pad or brush, and cleaning frequency for your specific finish. Check compatibility before using solvents, aggressive cleaners, or abrasive equipment. Commercial spaces should keep these instructions where staff can find them.

When something changes

Photograph peeling, a new crack, discoloration, or a damaged area and note when you first saw it. Keep a record of any spill or cleaning change. Contact the installer before attempting a repair or applying another product.

For a working shop, include the name of the substance involved and how long it was on the surface. That detail is more useful than the color of the stain alone.

Keep these with your project records

  • Coating system and product information
  • Return-to-use and cleaning instructions
  • Finish and color selection
  • Written scope and any applicable warranty documents
