From the first conversation to the final coat.

A good floor project starts before the first coat. This planning guide explains the decisions to make from the estimate conversation through return to use. The exact sequence depends on the selected system and your concrete.

  1. Share the space

Tell us your property address, intended use, approximate floor size, and preferred finish. Mention any existing coating, visible damage, or known moisture concerns.

  2. Review the concrete and scope

The assessment should establish suitability, preparation, repairs, coating boundaries, and access needs. Confirm the proposed system and written scope before scheduling.

  3. Prepare for the work

Agree on what must leave the room, who moves heavy items, and where belongings can be stored. Plan entrances, power access, and restrictions around the work area.

  4. Prepare and coat the floor

Depending on the selected system and slab, work can include surface preparation, repairs, primer, body coats, decorative material, and a topcoat. Follow the agreed scope and product requirements.

  5. Allow the floor to cure

Foot traffic, furniture, equipment, and vehicle use may have different return times. Get project-specific instructions and keep the space clear until the relevant stage is ready.

  6. Review the finished space and care

Walk through the work boundaries, discuss cleaning and maintenance, and keep the product and care information with your project records.

Before installation day

  • Confirm the spaces included and surfaces that need protection
  • Arrange storage and any heavy equipment movement
  • Review access, ventilation, and building requirements with the installer
  • Confirm who to contact and how schedule changes will be communicated
